Real Estate Forecast for 2015
As the new year begins, it is time to look at the market facts and trends to forecast what I expect to see in the coming year. Continued Low InventoryInventory is the most significant market variable present over the past few years will continue to drive real estate values up and create competitive bidding scenarios at lower price points. While inventory is low right now, I do expect to see an increase as the year progresses. New Mortgage OptionsRates will likely remain low and new mortgage options are now coming available, including 3% down financing.New ConstructionHome builders are developing new communities throughout the metro area. Many of these new homes feature energy efficient features that are appealing to buyers. You can and should work with a Realtor when working with a builder.EconomyDenver's economy is growing, unemployment remains low, and new commercial and residential projects continue to improve our vibrant community. Consumer confidence will positively impact the real estate market.SummaryIf you are planning to make a move, values continue to increase making now a viable time to sell real estate. Home values will likely stabilize as inventory increases. For home buyers, low mortgage rates, high rental rates, and a positive market outlook make 2015 a good time for investing in real estate.Contact me if you have questions or would like to talk about your specific real estate plans.

The Colorado and Denver economies are recovering nicely from the latest Recession.
So nicely, in fact, that both were ranked in the top 10 in the country for job growth, according to a recent study by researchers at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
The study, which was based on figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, looks at job growth in the first three quarters of 2014 across all 50 states and cities with a population of one million or more.
