How Do I Sell My Home With Low Inventory? 

I am frequently asked about the process of selling real estate while home values are high and finding the right home with low inventory. This is a challenging situation but one that I have helped many client's navigate.

Here are the most common scenarios:

1. List and sell current home and negotiate time to stay while a new home is purchased (rent back agreement). 

2. Write an offer to purchase new home contingent on selling current home. This usually works well if we expect current home to sell quickly and when the new home does not have tight competition.

3. List and sell current home followed by a short term move in with family or friends. This allows more time to find right home

and not be a contingent buyer

but does not work for everyone.

Every sale is different and the most important part is strong communication between you and your Realtor.
