Home Improvement Cost vs. Value Reports - good Info
Dear ,
Many homeowners are making improvements to their homes with the expectation that they will increase the value of the home. While this is true in most cases, not all improvement projects are the same. Take a look at the following reports to see the return on your investment for certain home improvements.
In addition to the return on your investment, the National Association of Realtors calculated a Joy Score for each project based on the happiness homeowners reported with their renovations. With low inventory and higher mortgage rates, many homeowners are deciding to make improvements to enjoy them personally. The news reports about real estate are generally negative these days but we are actually back to a very normal market. Inventory is still low which is leading to steady home values. Even with higher mortgage rates, many sellers are offering credits to help offset elevated mortgage payments. We typically see a market slowdown in November-December and experts are predicting an increase in activity in January (very normal).
