Latest Updates for the Summer Real Estate Market

Hi ,

The Summer season is upon us, and this means a transition in the housing market. Historically, home values soften, and buyer demand slows during this time of the year. In spite of these changing market conditions, sales in the summer are generally balanced benefiting both buyers and sellers.

  • Demand has been high for the past few months and will likely start to slow as we approach the Fourth of July holiday.

  • Inventory is expected to remain steady which, based on simple supply and demand, will result in a moderate decline in home values.

  • Mortgage rates remain steady around 7%. Inflation has cooled slightly but not enough for us to start seeing a reduction in mortgage rates.

Along with this brief update, I’ve included a few links to local events over the Summer. Many of us will be traveling throughout our beautiful state to enjoy the mountains, festivals, concerts, and beauty of Colorado.
